Welcome to Lindamood-Bell’s Flagship Learning Center
Our San Luis Obispo Learning Center holds a special place in Lindamood-Bell’s history. It was our very first center and remains home to our corporate headquarters. Today, it proudly serves as our Flagship Learning Center, supporting innovation, training, and instructional excellence across all 46 Lindamood-Bell locations nationwide.
While every Lindamood-Bell Learning Center is committed to high-quality instruction and strong student outcomes, our Flagship Center serves as a centralized hub where new ideas are piloted, best practices are refined, and training initiatives are developed to strengthen consistency and impact system-wide.

Emily Hoffman
Emily has dedicated 29 years to Lindamood-Bell, where she’s truly found her professional calling. Over nearly three decades, she has served in key leadership roles, including Center Director and, most recently, Director of the Lindamood-Bell Academy, our private school.
Emily brings deep experience, steady leadership, and continued enthusiasm for transforming students’ lives.
Under Emily’s leadership, the Flagship Center delivers an exceptional student and family experience while advancing training, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives across the Lindamood-Bell network.

The goal at our San Luis Obispo LEARNING Center is to change lives
At our Learning Center in San Luis Obispo, we empower students by developing the literacy skills that foster lifelong learning.
Our unique, evidence-based instruction focuses on developing the sensory-cognitive processes critical for all learning. We conduct a comprehensive Learning Ability Evaluation to pinpoint each student’s strengths and areas for growth, enabling us to personalize instruction and maximize their learning potential.
